How to Add QuoteKit to Your WordPress Website

What you need before you start

You need a QuoteKit account with your widget configured. If you have not set up your pricing yet, do that first - the embed code only works once your widget is active. You also need access to edit pages or posts on your WordPress site.

Getting your embed code

Log in to your QuoteKit dashboard and go to the Embed section. You will see two options: a popup floating button and an inline iframe. For most WordPress sites the inline iframe works best as it sits naturally within your page content.

Copy the iframe code. It looks something like this:

Adding the widget using the block editor

Open the page where you want the widget to appear. Click the plus button to add a new block and search for Custom HTML. Paste your QuoteKit iframe code into the HTML block. Click Preview to see it on the page, then Publish or Update to save.

Adding the widget using Elementor

Edit the page with Elementor. Search for the HTML widget in the left panel and drag it onto the page where you want the calculator to appear. Paste your QuoteKit embed code into the HTML field and click Update. The widget will render immediately in the preview.

Adding the widget to a classic theme

If your theme uses the classic editor, switch to the Text tab rather than the Visual tab when editing your page. Paste the iframe code directly into the text. Switch back to Visual to confirm it looks correct, then save.

Where to put it

The most effective placement is on a dedicated quote page with a clear call to action above it. Something like "Get an instant price" followed directly by the widget. Avoid burying it below a long block of text - customers should be able to see it without scrolling on most screens.

You can also add it to your homepage, services pages or even your contact page as an alternative to a contact form.

Testing it

Once embedded, submit a test quote through your own widget. Check that the lead appears in your QuoteKit dashboard and that you receive the email notification. This confirms everything is connected correctly.

If the widget does not appear, check that your WordPress theme is not blocking iframes. Some security plugins restrict embedded content - you may need to whitelist the QuoteKit domain.
