How it started

We are NexaDesign, a small web and software studio based in the UK. A courier client came to us with a straightforward problem. His website looked fine, his reviews were good and he was competitive on price. But he was losing jobs every week to competitors who gave customers a price straight away.

Customers would visit at 10pm, want a delivery price, find a contact form and leave. By morning they had already booked someone else. The jobs were there. He just never got the chance to quote for them.

We built him a quote calculator. Customer enters their postcodes, Google Maps calculates the road distance, they get a price in seconds. Their name, email and phone land in his dashboard automatically. He wakes up to leads in his inbox.

Why we turned it into a product

Within a few weeks, three other businesses asked for the same thing. A cleaning company. A removal firm. A gardener. All with the same problem - websites that got visitors but converted almost none of them into enquiries because there was no way to get a price without calling.

We realised this was not a one-off problem. It was a pattern. Most service business websites are essentially brochures. They describe what the business does but give customers no way to take action. QuoteKit fixes that.

What QuoteKit is today

QuoteKit is used by courier companies, cleaning businesses, removal firms, tradespeople, gardeners and valeting businesses across the UK. It adds an instant quote calculator to any website. Customers get a price in seconds. Businesses get the lead automatically. No calls, no back and forth.

It is built and maintained by NexaDesign, a UK-registered software company. We are a small team focused entirely on making it easier for service businesses to win work from their websites.
