How to Add QuoteKit to Your Wix Website

What you need before you start

You need a QuoteKit account with your widget set up and active. You also need Editor access to your Wix site. If you are using a Wix free plan, note that custom HTML embeds require a paid Wix plan.

Getting your embed code from QuoteKit

Log in to your QuoteKit dashboard and go to the Embed section. Copy the iframe embed code. This is the inline version that sits within your page rather than the popup button.

Adding the widget in Wix Editor

Open your Wix site in the editor. Navigate to the page where you want the quote calculator to appear. Click the plus button to add an element, then go to Embed and select Embed a Widget or HTML iframe. A box will appear on your page.

Click Enter Code in the element that appears on your page. Paste your QuoteKit iframe code and click Apply. The widget will load inside the Wix editor.

Resize and reposition the embed element to fit your page layout. Make sure it is wide enough - the QuoteKit widget works best at a minimum of 360px wide.

Publishing and testing

Click Publish to make the changes live. Open your published site and submit a test quote. Confirm the lead appears in your QuoteKit dashboard and that you receive the email notification.

Using Wix Studio

If you are using the newer Wix Studio editor, the process is the same but the embed option is found under Add Elements in the left panel. Search for HTML and select the HTML iframe component.

Where to place the widget

A dedicated Get a Quote page with the widget prominently positioned above the fold converts better than a widget buried at the bottom of a services page. You can also add it to your homepage or as a section within a long services page.
